Enterprise · early access

Open core stays open. Enterprise lives on top.

Open source lets you see what is wrong inside your Java services. Axelix Enterprise lets you control it: policies that keep problematic code and unsupported dependencies out of production, plus the identity, audit and support that security and compliance teams require.

01The open core

The core is open source, and it stays that way.

Axelix OSS is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3, an OSI-approved open-source license. You can use it free of charge, including in closed-source commercial software, and the open-source edition is never cut down to make room for Enterprise.

Commercial use
Free in closed-source softwareUse Axelix OSS in proprietary, commercial products at no cost. There is no requirement to publish your own source code anywhere.
Contributions
Changes to the core stay openEvery contribution to the open-source core remains open source, under the same license, for everyone.
Drop-in replacement

Enterprise is a full distribution of Axelix, not an add-on.

Axelix Enterprise replaces the open-source edition in place. It contains everything in OSS, so moving from one to the other is a smooth swap, not a migration project.

Swap the distributionReplace the Axelix OSS dependency with Axelix Enterprise.
  2. 02
Keep your setupYour configuration, console and MCP integrations carry over unchanged.

02Editions

Open source shows you the problems.

03What Enterprise includes

Features and support, in one contract

Enforcement policies

Policies as code for code quality and dependency health. A service that breaks a policy does not reach production.

SSO & identity

SAML / OIDC, SCIM provisioning, group → role mapping. Plug into your existing IdP.

Granular RBAC

Per-action policies, per-service scopes, per-environment guards. One model for humans and agents.

Compliance & audit

Immutable audit log, SOC 2 / ISO 27001 evidence pack, BYO-S3 export, retention policies.

Multi-cluster fleet

Federated masters across regions, single pane of glass, region-aware routing.

On-prem & air-gapped

Offline install bundle, no telemetry, BYO container registry. For everything that can't leave the network.
