Axelix is developed by Axelix Labs.
We're a small team of engineers and contributors to Spring modules. We've spent years inside Spring Boot services in production, and Axelix is the tool we kept wishing we had.
Axelix is our response to what AI did to production.
As AI writes more of the code we ship, software gets less stable. Production sees more incidents, code quality drops and more bugs slip through, and the number of discovered CVEs keeps setting records.
The Java ecosystem is no exception. We built Axelix to help Java teams handle these new challenges: find the cause of an incident fast, keep weak code out of production, and stay on supported dependencies.
Built by people who contribute to Spring itself.
Our CEO is a recognized Spring Data contributor and has presented Axelix at Java conferences such as JPoint. The rest of the team contributes to Spring modules too, so the problems Axelix finds are ones we've debugged ourselves.

A few things we hold ourselves to.
- 01Committed to open sourceThe Axelix core is licensed under LGPL-3.0 and will always stay open. We believe that is how trust is built, so Enterprise builds on top of the core and never forks it.
- 02Embracing the AI revolutionAI agents are already part of how teams work. Axelix is built to integrate well with them, so they can take on more and make engineers even more productive.
- 03AI empowers developers, not replaces themAI makes engineers faster, but people stay in charge. That is why policies matter: they keep what reaches production under your control, whoever wrote the code.
Already running in production around the world.
Teams add Axelix to their Spring Boot services every day, on the open-source core and on Enterprise. Thank you to everyone who tried it early, filed an issue or told a colleague.
